5:00 –7:00 p.m. “World Premiere Reception” at the Daniel Technology Center, 18121 Technology Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701 with celebrity guests including Dr. James Robertson and others . This festive event with music, wine, and tantalizing food is an opportunity for people from near and far to gather and celebrate Marching Through Culpeper coming to life on stage.

7:30 p.m. Multimedia Premiere Performance of Marching Through Culpeper at Eastern View High School, 16332 Cyclone Way, Culpeper, VA ( priority seating and intermission dessert buffet in the Forum for attendees of the “World Premiere Reception”).   Profits to benefit battlefield preservation.

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Walking Tour of historic downtown Culpeper to include locations in the book and stage production conducted by author, Virginia Morton. The tours will begin at the depot Visitor Center, 111 Commerce Street, Culpeper, VA

12:30 p.m. –  Luncheon with Dr. James Robertson at the Inn at Kelly’s Ford. Plan to spend the entire afternoon at the historic and scenic Inn at Kelly’s Ford, 16589 Edwards Shop Rd., Remington, VA . Luncheon activities begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Kelly’s Ford Arena with a barbeque buffet. Afterwards esteemed scholar and retired Virginia Tech history professor, Dr. James Robertson, will speak on the conflict between A. P. Hill and Stonewall Jackson at Cedar Mountain. Dr. Robertson will sign his newest book The Untold Civil War. Other activities include a cavalry demonstration, artillery demonstration, and hayride tours of Kelly’s Ford, the heaviest-used ford of the Civil War. Silent auction items will be offered for sale to benefit the Friends of Cedar Mountain Battlefield.
